I received my Ph.D. in History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2014. My research focuses on Soviet Jewish history, and particularly on the return of Jews to Soviet Ukraine after the Holocaust. I now work at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies, as part of the new Initiative on the Holocaust in the Soviet Union.
